Our Mission
The Southern Regional Honors Council promotes and advances Honors Programs and Honors Colleges in the Southern United States. The Southern Regional Honors Council is a regional affiliate of the National Collegiate Honors Council (NCHC). Our region is comprised of 11 states, and we are proud to support their Honors councils, associations, and organizations. The SRHC currently comprises more than 100 member institutions.
Governance
SRHC is governed by a 15-member board consisting of the current president, the vice president, the student vice president, the Council’s two most recent past presidents, the Council’s immediate past student vice president, the secretary, the treasurer, the conference chairperson(s), and six at-large members elected by the Council at the annual business meeting.
